Connectivity Operations Dashboard

The client managed a growing fleet of routers and SIM cards across 150+ client sites with no central visibility into device health, signal quality, firmware versions, or data usage - and no way to remotely monitor or update deployed hardware.

We built two connected systems. The dashboard integrates with the client's cellular network provider for SIM and usage data, presenting it across all sites with per-site drill-downs, usage analytics, uptime tracking, and client group management. Role-based access and invite-based user management allow the client to self-serve employee onboarding.

On the hardware side, we built an OpenWrt-based monitoring agent deployed to physical routers via SSH. Running on a cron schedule, the agent collects signal strength, firmware version, SIM slot activity, and connected device data - pushing it to Supabase to populate the dashboard live. A version management system handles OTA script updates: new releases are packaged, uploaded to a VPS, and registered in Supabase, with routers checking for and applying updates automatically every two hours.
