Company Review & Vacancy Platform

The original WordPress platform had become a ceiling. No native support for complex user roles, subscription tiers, and data relationships meant every new feature required a workaround. We assessed the options and made the case for a full rebuild on Next.js. The client needed a platform that could handle different levels of access, complex subscription logic, and data that talked to itself in real time. No plugin stack was going to solve that.

We designed and built OurWorkLife from the ground up as two connected Next.js applications on a shared Supabase backend, delivering a full consumer platform and a separate internal admin portal. Core work included a company and review engine, job board with applications, tiered subscription payments, full authentication flows, transactional email infrastructure, and a secured admin portal for company approvals, moderation, and analytics. We also consulted on and recommended the broader tooling stack, advising Strapi as a headless CMS to give the client full editorial control over content, and Resend to power reliable email notifications across the platform.
