Company Review & Vacancy Platform

The original WordPress platform had reached its limits, requiring a workaround for every new feature. The client also needed a platform that could handle different levels of access, and complex subscription logic. No plugin stack was going to easily solve that. We assessed the options and suggested for a full rebuild on Next.js.

We designed and built OurWorkLife from the ground up as two connected Next.js applications on a shared Supabase backend, delivering a full consumer platform and a separate internal admin portal. Core work included a company and review engine, job board with applications, tiered subscription payments, full authentication flows, email infrastructure, and a secured admin portal for company approvals, moderation, and analytics.

For the subscriptions logic, we implemented Lemon Squeezy, enabling the platform to now generate revenue. We also consulted on and recommended the broader tooling stack, advising Strapi as a headless CMS to give the client editorial control over content, and Resend to for email notifications across the platform.
